Return and Refund Policy

At Shaving Market, customer satisfaction is our priority. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the exact same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at sales@shavingmarket.com.au with your order number and the reason for the return.

If your return request is accepted, we will provide you with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping Costs

As per our policy, you are responsible for arranging the return shipment and paying for the return shipping costs. We do not provide pre-printed return labels.

  • Customer Remorse (Change of Mind): If you purchased the wrong item or simply changed your mind, return shipping costs are strictly your responsibility and are non-refundable.

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If the product is defective, damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong item, please arrange the return shipping and include a copy of the shipping receipt in your package. Once we receive and verify the defect at our facility, we will fully reimburse your return shipping costs along with the refund for the item.

4. Restocking Fee

We do not charge any restocking fees for returned items. (No restocking fee)

5. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (within 48 hours) if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. This allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right immediately.

6. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Due to strict health and hygiene regulations in the barbering and grooming industry, certain types of items cannot be returned. These include:

  • Opened or used personal care goods (e.g., shaving gels, pomades, aftershaves, liquids).

  • Used clippers, trimmers, blades, and shears.

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or aerosols.

Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance sale items or gift cards.

7. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

8. Refunds Processing

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item at our Reservoir facility, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take some additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at sales@shavingmarket.com.au
